Shayne Magdoff 5/15/2017 11:54 AMDoes anyone ever watch "Washington Grown"? Since we are new to the area, we find it extremely interesting and educational. Did you know that Washington produces 64% of the apples for the US, we are #5 in wheat producing states and #2 in potato producing states. How cool is that! -
Shayne Magdoff 5/15/2017 11:49 AMIt's amazing how much great food we can get locally and easily eat nutritiously. We are so blessed in this valley. -
Shayne Magdoff 5/15/2017 7:58 AMThere is a series on PBS - Climate Change by the Numbers. Quite interesting if anyone cares to watch next time it is shown. -
Shayne Magdoff 5/14/2017 2:07 PMMy hardest challenge is not being able to eat processed foods and sweets. Sweetened beverages are easy because I don't drink those anyway.
But sweets - this is a true challenge. Hope I can keep it up at the end of two weeks.
