Well, tonight is the night.  It will be so exciting to see what the final carbon footprint reduction is.  With all of our teams pulling together - I know we will be amazing.

It's hard to believe we have 743 participants!  Wow - what a great initiative.  We should be so proud with how much we all helped our glorious planet!

It is hard to believe we only have 4 days left for the challenge, but the awareness about how to save water, energy and take care of your health seem so simple and should be easily sustainable.

Does anyone ever watch "Washington Grown"?  Since we are new to the area, we find it extremely interesting and educational. Did you know that Washington produces 64% of the apples for the US, we are #5 in wheat producing states and #2 in potato producing states.  How cool is that!

It's amazing how much great food we can get locally and easily eat nutritiously.  We are so blessed in this valley.

There is a series on PBS - Climate Change by the Numbers.  Quite interesting if anyone cares to watch next time it is shown.

My hardest challenge is not being able to eat processed foods and sweets.  Sweetened beverages are easy because I don't drink those anyway.
But sweets - this is a true challenge.  Hope I can keep it up at the end of two weeks.
