I am grateful for my good health, my home, and my ability not only to pay all my bills, but to have some left over to donate to  my favorite non profits.

I am grateful for access to a veterinary oncologist and to the advances in cancer care, which has kept Mijo in remission from lymphoma and allowed him to continue having a good quality of life for the past 21 months. I am grateful for a reliable car that allows me to get to his oncologist in Kirkland. I am grateful that every morning I get to wake up to Mijo's sweet smile.

I am grateful for the technology that allows me to keep connected to my east coast family, for the firefighters who put their lives on the line fighting wildfires, and for a cup of tea in the morning.
