A lovely day, temperature-wise.  No heat or cooling required.

Books to the library for next year's sale, clothing to Goodwill, and the recycling bin is at the curb waiting for tomorrow's pickup.

I don't have central air conditioning.  I have a window air conditioner, but mostly I use my shady backyard and the basement in the summer.    Saves energy that way.

I am grateful for the yard waste pickup.  My big trees generated more leaves than I can manage in the fall.  There are still piles of them around the edges of my yard, but it's not a problem because they can go into the yard waste bin now, before weeds begin to fill it up.
