Chandra Villano 5/26/2017 3:33 PMRecycling pots from plants bought at last week's farmers market. The grower said the pots have increased in price, so tomorrow I'll be returning her pots along with a massive stack that I've accumulated over the years in my green house. Reusing is even more energy efficient than recycling. -

Exciting new study out of Loma Linda University Health! By replacing beef with beans, Americans could immediately meet up to 75% of targeted greenhouse gas emission reductions!

Chandra Villano 5/24/2017 8:34 PMSharing plants with neighbors - priceless. Working in the garden - therapeutic. Being accountable for this tracking - brings mindfulness to a new level. -
Chandra Villano 5/23/2017 2:44 PMRepurposed greetings cards to make "new" cards to share with others. Fun way to keep sharing. -
Chandra Villano 5/23/2017 6:32 AMI am grateful that my husband and I are on the same page about not using air conditioning. -
Chandra Villano 5/22/2017 8:09 AMSo very satisfying, on so many levels, to plant and grow your own food. Compost from last year is lovingly supporting this year's plants. -

Chandra Villano 5/18/2017 4:34 PMI reuse paper bags in my office and it is fun to see the variety of bags that patients bring in. I also take my plastic air "cushions" (that come with office shipments) to Pak It Rite, who then uses it again for packing. -
Chandra Villano 5/17/2017 5:13 PMBeing more reportable for 20 minutes less of screen time is sobering. Sneaky little activity that it is! -
Chandra Villano 5/16/2017 3:00 PMGrateful that so many more around me are enlisting and learning more eco-oriented practices. Collectively, let's make a difference. I appreciate the personal commitment and accountability that this challenge invokes.
