May 23 at 8:23 AMThis challenge is keeping me on track with getting a raised bed built for my garden! Woo hoo!
-
May 22 at 1:56 PMI worked in my garden again on Sunday planting more tomatoes, peppers, watermelon, basil and cucumbers.
-
May 22 at 1:54 PMA group of us from Cascade Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (CUUF) worked together to prepare and serve the community meal at St. Luke's Episcopal Church on Saturday, May 21. May 22 at 8:25 AMI am still figuring this challenge out and it is so fun!
-
May 20 at 8:53 AMI have been very good about bringing my own bags to the grocery store. Yesterday my mom and I went for a picnic and put our sandwiches and drinks in reusable bags to go to the park
-
May 18 at 8:50 AMWarming up frozen berries and using the juice to help make oatmeal has become one of my favorite meals this week!
-
May 17 at 10:06 AMWhat Nancy is sharing about her chicken broth for soup sounds amazing! I'm hoping to get a raised bed built and get some starts from the Farmers Market soon and then I can make a soup too.
-
May 16 at 9:23 PMI'm paying more attention to the packaging that comes with products I use and looking for ways to reduce waste. I used chicken bullion instead of canned chicken broth for soup the other day. On Saturday I cooked a chicken carcass I had in the freezer to make broth for this week's soup.
-
May 16 at 9:18 PMI sorted through my pots and put together a couple boxfuls that I will donate to CAFE for use in a gardening fundraiser.
-
May 15 at 6:16 PMInstalling an automated irrigation system to provide more efficient watering to our gardens and lawn. Digging the trenches by hand instead of using gas powered equipment (i.e. ditchwitch).
