Anabel Watson 5/22/2017 8:40 AMI completed my happiness category goal and wrote down 3 things I am grateful for.. Today I am so appreciative of the trust, sustenance and community which keep me energized. It is so incredibly wonderful to know that others can trust me and that I can make a difference in their lives and gain happiness through connection. I am so lucky to have such wonderful food in my life too and wonderful people to share it with. And I am so grateful for the wonderful community tied into all of this and in so many aspects of life. YOU are a community; thank you, friends <3 -

Anabel Watson 5/21/2017 9:24 AMOne of my completed challenges was to join a restoration project in nature and share about it in my newsfeed.. On Friday I went with the AmeriCorps team to the Tierra Learning Center in Leavenworth. I was in a group that chopped firewood; we were told that this helped restore the forest because there were too many trees for a healthy environment. The tree count was too high because fires were better controlled now (I think this was the explanation) with the downside being that this disrupts the ecosystem and keeps too many trees living..
