Final day of the eco challenge. Two weeks paying special attention to each action we do,  and how it affects climate change. Thank you NCW EcoChallenge for this good education. 

Fuels reduction project completed for the spring on our property. 

Participated in eBird surveys for restoration ecology. Treated fuels, slash on our property. 

Walked and carpooled to meetings, rather than drove a separate car.

Checking into the purchase of a smallish hybrid 4x4, it looks like the RAV 4 is a good one for us in the future.

Team Murphy went to a new area above Bridgeport, Chief Joseph Dam, and went birding on our walks.

We saved energy by closings during thecwarm day of 82 degrees. Our house stayed cool. At night we open windows.

Bird Fest Sunday, teaching the Sense of Place, we all had reusable water bottles, rather than brining plastic bottles. That is 13 people (13 bottles kept out of the recycling), very impressive.

Today I brought my own reusable tea cup at O'Grady's, purchased a few months ago, in an effort to go greener.
