Birds are chirping-greeting another day. Mostly sparrows. Not as many different kinds now that the doves & crows have moved into my neighborhood.

Planning on looking for & removing obnoxious weeds from around my property this afternoon. Especially looking for those low growing goat heads.

Hoping to make it to the Pybus "Farmers Market" today before they close and check out what is available this early in the season. (Today from 3 to 7 pm I think)

No farmers market yet. But it was fun to walk through Pybus and check out who & what is there.

Spring weather! I was able to open windows and start spring house cleaning without chemical cleaners. Vinegar, baking soda and elbow grease. 1/3 of living room completed this morning.

Yesterday on I-90 drivers were heavy footed. So I let them pass me and maintained my steady speed within the speed limit.

Washed the load of clothes in cold/cold water last night (usually had used warm/cold)-then hung them on my wooden clothes rack to dry. Looking forward to when the clothes rack can be put outside. Fortunately my neighbors don't complain about having laundry drying on the porch like when I lived in an apartment complex in Kent-(wasn't "allowed"!

I can see & feel a difference because I am participating in the Wenatchee Valley YMCA's hiking preparedness class. Into 5 sessions of 16 and I can see taking a hike at the end as a possibility. Thanks YMCA for inspiring me.

Hand washed my kitchen dishes with bio-degradable soap this morning. Air dried them. Didn't take too long.

Last night-saved time. When I picked up my personal mail, "junk" mail went straight into Waste Management recycle bin instead of cluttering up the flat surfaces inside my house.

I am recycling papers at my work desk - and I am helping our maintenance by emptying my own recycle bucket to the larger container.
