    Have to admit that some things that would usually go into the compost pile are now going to the chickens.

    This has been a great experience.   It has made me much more aware of the impacts I can make in different areas.  I will continue what I have started, and add other actions.  Thanks to the organizers.

    Kind of a frustrating day trying to get into my dashboard, but I finally made it.  Other than that, a great day.  Finished my final one-time challenge!

    I am really enjoying reading the posts to see what team members are doing.  It's inspirational, and get some new ideas.  Glad temps & winds are down.  Should help up the Chumstick.

    So very thankful for the cool breeze that cools the house during the night.   Now I seem to be gravitating toward cotton instead of fleece.  Haven't used heat or air conditioning since the first of May.

    What a great day yesterday!  All kind of reusables for sale at the Friends of Library book sale, and CUUF  bling (preowned jewelry) sale.

    Tons of veggie scraps from making frittata and veggie tray.  Saved the good stuff for soup, the rest to compost.  I need to find out more about vermicomposting.

    The eco-challenge has made a big impact on how I plan my day.  If I "have to" drive in to town for an appointment or shopping, I am much better about planning to do  all the things that need to be done at once.  I've only had one day where I had 2 trips, and that was because I had one meeting in the morning, and one at 7 p.m..  I like being more organized about my chores involving driving.
