Dawn McKenzie 5/26/2017 10:29 AMHave to admit that some things that would usually go into the compost pile are now going to the chickens. -
Dawn McKenzie 5/26/2017 5:53 AMThis has been a great experience. It has made me much more aware of the impacts I can make in different areas. I will continue what I have started, and add other actions. Thanks to the organizers. -
Dawn McKenzie 5/25/2017 4:29 PMKind of a frustrating day trying to get into my dashboard, but I finally made it. Other than that, a great day. Finished my final one-time challenge! -
Dawn McKenzie 5/24/2017 6:41 AMI am really enjoying reading the posts to see what team members are doing. It's inspirational, and get some new ideas. Glad temps & winds are down. Should help up the Chumstick. -
Dawn McKenzie 5/23/2017 6:14 PMGlad that there are so many great tasting meals that have no meat! I have been exploring and experimenting. Thanks Eco-Challenge! -
Dawn McKenzie 5/22/2017 6:19 AMSo very thankful for the cool breeze that cools the house during the night. Now I seem to be gravitating toward cotton instead of fleece. Haven't used heat or air conditioning since the first of May. -
Dawn McKenzie 5/21/2017 8:02 AMWhat a great day yesterday! All kind of reusables for sale at the Friends of Library book sale, and CUUF bling (preowned jewelry) sale. -
Dawn McKenzie 5/20/2017 7:29 AMTons of veggie scraps from making frittata and veggie tray. Saved the good stuff for soup, the rest to compost. I need to find out more about vermicomposting. -
Dawn McKenzie 5/19/2017 5:58 AMI can't wait to go to the farmer's market tomorrow! Micro-greens...YUM -
Dawn McKenzie 5/18/2017 6:18 AMThe eco-challenge has made a big impact on how I plan my day. If I "have to" drive in to town for an appointment or shopping, I am much better about planning to do all the things that need to be done at once. I've only had one day where I had 2 trips, and that was because I had one meeting in the morning, and one at 7 p.m.. I like being more organized about my chores involving driving.
