We're coming to the end of the EcoChallenge in a day or two. While I didn't complete all of my challenges, I do think more about conservation every day.  We don't have a rain barrel; however, we're saving water in a jug, water that before would have been poured down the drain. My plants don't seem to mind "used" water!  :-)  How about you, other team members? Have you enjoyed the Challenge? Thank you for participating on team "Together, We Can."

Any one else on our team growing vegetables and/or herbs?  I may have questions!

The vegetables and sunflowers are growing from the seeds the kids sowed but I only got two out of ten vegetable plants in the ground today. Looking forward to the sunny weekend for gardening.

The kids are too young to be on our team, but they're inspired to keep showers to 5 minutes or less. Hawkins would have made it his scream caused quite a ruckus when  he got shampoo in his eye!  

Taking a 5 minute shower would be a lot easier if it wasn't so cold outside!

I went shopping with my girls and thrift stores this last week-end, we love too!!

WooHoo, a perfect day to garden...if I can just get the laundry caught up...in cold water, of course

Day of Ava's softball jamboree games meant no gardening; however, it provided reasons for feeling grateful!

Super excited to find new ways to save energy, resources and money.

These new challenges will take my efforts to a new and higher level of environmental thought and action!
