OK, thanks Leona, it was bogged down.  Got in tonight.  

The Eco Challenge made me aware that I do do a lot of things that help the environment.  It also helped me be aware of where I can improve.

Spent 3 days with 160 6th graders at camp at Tall Timber Ranch. Wish we could spend more than 1 day a year out in nature!

Wenatchee naturalists--11 out of 99 is pretty darn great!

Wait, today is the last day, but we can't do our challenges?  Darn.  Not sure I did them last night and would have added those, too.  Guess I'll just go out in the garden and take out all the salsify that is blooming and see if I can spot some knapweed...  Great job team!  

Joined the local Chapter of The Nature Conservancy to help out with their Moses Coulee preserves. While performing some routine, but enjoyable field work, I frequently paused to take in the view and glass the hillsides with binoculars...I found that some of my most enjoyable discoveries were right at my feet. So many ways to be rewarded for your volunteer work.

I gave support today to an organization that is paying ranchers to commit to allowing wolves to coexist on their land.

Great hike today with my husband on Saddlerock, excited to see the new community gathering and education center!!!!
