May 25 at 10:05 PMWe're coming to the end of the EcoChallenge in a day or two. While I didn't complete all of my challenges, I do think more about conservation every day. We don't have a rain barrel; however, we're saving water in a jug, water that before would have been poured down the drain. My plants don't seem to mind "used" water! :-) How about...

May 18 at 10:38 PMThe vegetables and sunflowers are growing from the seeds the kids sowed but I only got two out of ten vegetable plants in the ground today. Looking forward to the sunny weekend for gardening.

May 17 at 9:42 PMThe kids are too young to be on our team, but they're inspired to keep showers to 5 minutes or less. Hawkins would have made it his scream caused quite a ruckus when he got shampoo in his eye!
